About Alicia Brown

Travel and Tourism have always been a passion for me, I had the opportunity to start my career with a family-owned travel agency to then working for Tourism Holdings Ltd for 4 years - who ran Waitomo Caves, Kiwi Experience, Car and Campervan Hire.

Moving back to Northland, I started my 12-year career as a Travel Expert and Team Leader for Flight Centre Whangarei. Growing my expertise and knowledge base, by turning bucket lists into realities and making long-time friends out of my supportive clients, who knew I had a passion for researching the best deals at the best value to meet their needs. The look on a clients face as the excitement builds and hearing all about their experiences on holiday afterwards is why I do what I do.

I’ve travelled extensively independently, as well as a few tours with Intrepid, G Adventures, ocean cruise holidays with Royal Caribbean and P&O and absolutely loved river cruising with Uniworld - ‘Castles Along The Rhine’ Amsterdam to Basel. It’s hard to pick a favourite holiday or destination, but the ones that stand out the most for me are experiencing the medieval village of Certaldo, Tuscany; getting engaged at Prague Castle; the history and culture of Turkey; sampling the exotic side of Cuba for my honeymoon; tasting the food, artworks and history of South America and soaking up the culture in Bali.
